DMCA Policy (Digital Millennium Copyright Act)

At The AI Klatch™, we respect intellectual property rights and expect our members to do the same. This policy explains how we respond to claims of copyright infringement on our learning Platform at https://myaiklatch.com ("Site", "Community", or “Platform”).

This policy is provided in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

 

Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content on our Platform infringes your copyrighted work, please send a written notice to our designated agent with the following information:

  1. Your name, mailing address, and email address
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
  3. The URL or specific location of the allegedly infringing content
  4. A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the copyright owner
  5. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
  6. Your physical or electronic signature

What We Do Next

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  • Investigate and review the allegedly infringing content
  • Remove or disable access to the content, if appropriate
  • Notify the user who posted the content, and provide an opportunity to respond

We may also suspend or terminate access for repeat offenders.

 

Submitting a Counter-Notice

If you believe that your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notice that includes:

  1. Your name, address, email, and signature
  2. A description of the removed content and its location before removal
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that the content was removed due to mistake or misidentification
  4. A statement that you consent to jurisdiction in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina, United States of America, and will accept service of process from the complainant

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the content unless the complainant files a court action within 10 business days.

 

Abuse of This Policy

Filing false or misleading notices (either takedown or counter) can result in liability under Section 512(f) of the DMCA. Please use this process responsibly.
